she’s going to blow

This is part of my Keii pieces (“homage” in Japanese). It’s a reminder to myself to keep swimming on days when I feel super discouraged or disappointed with humans + humanity as a whole.

I can relate with the blowfish. Small + harmless when minding its own business, but very prickly if caught off guard, or if placed in situations that do not feel comfortable. A form of self preservation amidst the chaos we all live in.

A bit of it also relates to my internal struggles with social media in general. I am one very tiny fish in the vast ocean of fake artistry. But then again, the silver lining also reflects as a reminder that patience is paramount.
