catapult

This is where the idea of “catapult” comes in.

It may sound unusual, but it works very well for me. I’ve attended several envisioning and meditation workshops, and this is one of the most effective techniques I use. It also makes me laugh every time. For the record, I discovered it on my own.

Whenever I face negative people or difficult situations, I remind myself that it is temporary. Then, I take a moment to shift my mindset.

First, I send positive energy and love toward the person or situation.
Next, I imagine it being launched far away from me—like a cartoon catapult sending it into the distance.

This simple exercise helps me let go.

Almost every time, something changes. The situation improves or resolves on its own. Sometimes it happens in unexpected ways, but it still works.
