pong my life

I called this piece, “pong my life”. A play off the (in)famous phrase “f$ck my life” (commonly used down here in Miami, I’ve noticed). It reflects how life itself NEVER has a dull moment. Just when I think I’m moving forward, something unexpected happens and I wind up bouncing back + forth, in hopes of eventually hitting my end goal. And some days are so hard to not want to just put my arms up + say “f$ck it” to it all.

I guess that’s where I have to remind myself that nothing about reinventing myself is going to be easy. No wonder only about 2% of folks out in the work force venture to become their own bosses. (The other 98% prefer to work for the 2% and bitch about it. Quite an interesting conundrum, wouldn’t you agree?)

I was in a nostalgic mood when I created this piece, naturally. It all came about while trying to explain to jr how #atari video games of my generation were slightly different than what kids play with these days.
