As in “estimated time of arrival”, this concept reflects the reality of not knowing when it’s our time. Unless we choose our departure for a variety of reasons.

Each bird is for someone I knew who are no longer with us over the past year. Two of which may have chosen their own departure date. I say “may have” bcz of the awkwardness behind admitting they did what they did. My mind still struggles with it sometimes. I want to believe they are back in Seattle, totally fine.
